卡罗尔·林恩(Carroll Lane)被任命为普惠公司商用发动机总裁

I am pleased to announce that Carroll Lane will join Pratt & Whitney as president, Commercial Engines, reporting to me, on Jan. 1, 2020.

Together, with the Commercial Engines executive team, Carroll will lead our commercial engines program management, sales, customer support and aftermarket services during this continued period of growth in the commercial aerospace industry. He will ensure we stay on course in serving our expanding customer base and supporting their fleets through development, entry into service, and the maintenance, repair and overhaul cycle. Reporting to Carroll will be:

  • Tom Pelland, senior vice president, Commercial Engine Programs.
  • Rick Deurloo, senior vice president, Sales & Customer Support.
  • Joe Sylvestro, vice president, Aftermarket Operations.
  • Eva Azoulay, vice president, Commercial Aftermarket.

Carroll and the team will continue our focus on driving alignment, improving the quality and speed of our decisions and, ultimately, advancing our ability to deliver on our customer commitments.

Carroll returns to Pratt & Whitney from UTC where he was most recently vice president Investor Relations, leading strategies that position the company as a preferred investment to both the domestic and international investor communities. Carroll joined the UTC Corporate Office in 2012 as director, Corporate Strategy & Development. In 2014, he transferred to Pratt & Whitney and served as senior director, Customer Solutions, and was named vice president, Commercial Aftermarket in 2016. In addition to his career with UTC, Carroll’s aerospace and defense industry experience includes roles with Textron, CSP Associates and Cirrus Aircraft. He also served as a naval aviator in the United States Marine Corps. Carroll’s lifelong passion for aviation, strong analytical skills and extensive leadership experience, make him well suited for his new position.

Please join me in congratulating Carroll and welcoming him back to Pratt & Whitney.
